'TIS THE SEASON...

Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful friends and family! We hope that each of you have had a wonderful year. God has shown us just how blessed we truly are this year, and we are so fortunate to have each of you surrounding us. This has been a difficult year losing Papa Joel and baby Livee, but we have made it through with lots of prayers and encouragement. I know that they are both healthy again and smiling down on us as we celebrate this Holiday Season. We wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! We cannot wait to see what the New Year holds for each of you!

God Bless,
Will & Linsey

Kristin's Shower...New Orleans...and a Weekend full of Red Snapper!!

Wow! What a week it has been! It all started last Thursday night with Kristin's Lingerie Shower Kayla and I hosted at our house. We had an awesome time with a great group! Great food...Great gifts...Great friends!

On Friday, Will and I visited New Orleans. This was our first trip since Katrina, so we really did not know what to expect. We had an awesome weekend together just walking around sightseeing! Before we left Saturday night we visited the aquarium. This was Will's first trip to the aquarium in New Orleans and he loved all of the fish! My favorite was the albino allegator, which I had a very hard time locating for some odd reason!

On Sunday we were invited deep sea fishing with a group that Will and his dad work with. This was my first fishing trip and I LOVED it! I cannot wait for Will and I to go fishing in Destin. We have already planned another trip. I did not get sick and the weather was beautiful! Will told me when we got back to shore that he was so worried about me he almost made himself sick...but he was really glad I was able to hang in there like a "trooper." I guess he thought I was a little too girly and pregnant for deep sea fishing but I have found a new summertime hobby! We had an awesome time and it was so nice of Chad, Susan, and her father to have us down! Oh and did I mention that I caught a ton of fish? I definitely out-fished Will! Our limit was 2 fish per person but several people were sick so I ended up getting to keep 4 fish! The largest weighed 24.8 lbs.! That one is going on the wall! I have always told Will that I wanted a "pink fish" on the wall one day...now I have a huge red snapper!
